Show Conditions
1. The Judges decision is final.
2. Any objection must be submitted in writing to stewards within fifteen minutes of the end of the class, and must be accompanied by a deposit of £10.00, which will be returned if the objection is upheld by the judge, steward and committee.
3. Queries must be made to the Secretary's Office only.
All riders must wear PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR, correct clothing and suitable footwear. BRITISH STANDARD RIDING HATS NUMBERS
1. PAS015 AND EN1384 ARE COMPULSORY IN ALL RIDDEN CLASSES. CHINSTRAPS MUST BE FASTENED.
2. Where ages are applicable they will be taken from 1st January 2005 and competitors will remain in the class for the rest of the season.
3. In the case of insufficient entries classes may be combined or cancelled.
4. Points will be awarded in all classes except Trial and Clear Round Jumping (Beginners).
1st - 4 points 2nd - 3 points
3rd - 2 points 4th - 1 points
Plus 1 point for every member who enters the ring.
5. The same combination of horse/pony and rider/leader must be maintained to gain points. The name entered on the entry sheet must be the person who competes in the ring, otherwise points will be forfeit. Exceptions maybe considered if stated in writing to the committee before the show date.
6. Points will count from the time and date of membership. A minimum of three shows per season in the same class must be entered to qualify for the Presentation Trophy.
7. The committee and Mr T Proctor accepts no responsibility of liability in consequence of the loss or damage to any horse, rider, spectator, vehicle or any other property. A responsible adult must supervise children at all times.
8. The committee reserves the right to refuse entry of any horse/pony.
9. No cantering will be permitted on land outside the showrings except when in taking a practice fence or using the riding-in area.
10. No horse or pony under the age of 4 years may be ridden on the show ground or in any ridden classes.
11. It is responsibility of the competitors to be present in the appropriate ring for the commencement of a class. Entry fees cannot be refunded due to unpunctuality.
12. Youngstock handlers must be competent to handle the same at the judge's discretion.
13. Leaders/handlers must be members, not parents of members, to qualify for points.
14. Stallions may compete providing that the rider or handler, in the opinion of the committee and judges, is fully competent of controlling him and is over the age of 18 years.
15. Committee may refuse entry of any horse if it is not handled correctly, and any horse considered dangerous will be asked to leave the field.
16. Only senior competitors are allowed to wear spurs in appropriate classes.
17. Perpetual trophies not returned to a committee member by 1s. Sept. may (at the committees discretion) incur a deduction of this seasons points. 5 points for the first week or part week and 10 points for each week or part there after.

W1 SIR LANCELOT SMARTEST ON PARADE CHAMPIONSHIP – Stallion,mare or gelding 4 years old and over:
* not exceeding 148cms. Rider not to have attained their 18th Birthday by the 1st January in the current year.

*Registered/Unregistered Native Type not exceeding 138cms. Riders any age.

This Championship will be judged on:-
PHASE ONE - The Turnout of Horse/Pony and Rider 50 Marks. PHASE TWO - Freestyle Show not Exceeding 2 minutes 50 Marks. Movements to be included in a freestyle show in an area not more than 60m x 40m:Halt, walk on a long rein, ordinary trot serpentine, canter circle on both reins and an extended canter on the diagonal.

See Class 29 *Lead Rein Pony – mare or gelding, 4 years old & over not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th Birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle. Lead Rein to be attached to the noseband only.
See Class 33 *Riding Pony – mare or gelding, 4 years old & over not exceeding 148cms. Riders not to have attained their 17th Birthday before 1st January in the current year.
See Class 36 *Riding Horse – mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms. Riders any age
See Class 35 *Hunter Pony – mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, not exceeding 153cms. Riders any age
